The United Workers of Petroleum Industry was formed on the 10th of January 1961. The union is committed to representing employees in the petroleum, petro-chemical, and allied industries in Singapore.
In 2001, UWPI merged with SPCEU, which consisted of companies in Ayer Merbau Complex.  Our union continues to expand with the commitment to obtain and maintain just and proper terms and conditions of employment. With the strong support of members, UWPI stands ready to protect and promote the interests and welfare of all members.
